Below are some of my favorite links.  Some of the links below are those reenactment or history groups that I have done their personal embroidery for.   If you have a website and want to have it listed here, all I would like in return is a link on your website.  Please email with your information and I can put your site on this page.  If your unit or group has purchased from me, please let me know that and I can put up your personalized emblem that I created for you along side your name.

Thanks for looking and visiting.

Starting the battery in the early part of December of 1997 with members coming into the ranks mostly from other battery’s in Ohio. The 3” ordinance rifle that we use today is an original 1862 Civil War piece belonging to the Village of Carey, Ohio. At this time, the 21st OVLA, its’ members and affiliates would like to thank the Village of Carey, Ohio for the Honor of using this instrument of war for the purpose of educating others."

9th CT Regiment MISSION STATEMENT: A Ninth Connecticut Vicksburg Committee has been formed to place a State of Connecticut Monument at the Vicksburg National Military Park to honor the “gallant soldiers of the 9th Connecticut Infantry who participated in the Vicksburg campaign of 1862”. Long denied any memorial at the Park, legislation was amended in 1990 to broaden the park’s interpretive mandate to cover the period April, 1862 to July 4, 1863, and to provide for the acquisition of the remaining vestige of the canal area. Thus Connecticut is now allowed to place a monument honoring their soldiers who participated in the Vicksburg campaign of 1862. ** The committee is comprised of members of the Irish American Historical Society, the Irish History Round Table and the Civil War Round Table. An invitation has been received from the National Park Service and a letter to the NPS (Department of the Interior) has been written in May of 2005 by Governor Rell authorizing the committee to proceed on behalf of the State of Connecticut. Checks may be made payable to IHRT Inc.(Irish History Round Table) with a notation in the remarks section “9th Reg – Vicksburg Mon”. Mail to IHRT Inc., 9th Vicksburg Monument, Box 6028, Hamden, CT 06517. Robert Larkin
